The DELF B2 is a French diploma valid for life. You need 50 / 100 to pass, with at least 5 / 25 in each part.
Accepted proofs of level B2 include the DELF B2 (valid for life) and the TCF or TEF tests (valid 2 years). Check your own case on service-public.gouv.fr.

Is B2 really asked for nationality?
Yes, for applications made since 1 January 2026, with the civic exam. Some people are exempt.
DELF B2 or TCF?
The DELF B2 is valid for life. The TCF or TEF result is valid 2 years. We help you choose.
